Nigeria governor's f forum (NGF) met at Aso Rock

- The Nigerian Governor's Forum (NGF) met at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja last night

- It was a closed meeting held at the Presidential Villa's Old Bank House

- The meeting was chaired by the chairman of the forum, Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State

The Nigerian Governors' Forum (NGF) held a closed meeting at the Old Bank House of the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja last night.

The governors met before today's meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC), headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Among the governors who were present were those of Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Kwara, Kogi, Borno, Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Ondo, Bauchi, Sokoto, Plateau, Niger, Edo, Kebbi.

Has hosted the governors of the rivers, Ogun and Lagos states by their delegates.


According to Daily Trust, the meeting was held at 09:40 last night.

Earlier this day, governors under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held a meeting at the party's headquarters in Abuja.

At the meeting, the APC governors stated that it was not for President Muhammadu Buhari to be complementary to attend the meetings of the FUK.

President Buhari missed the last two FF meetings at the Presidential Villa and expressed concerns about his health.

Minister of information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, told reporters at the House of Representatives on Monday that the president had left the house.
