Jose Mourinho: This Man United player has phenomenal

Jose Mourinho has praised on Antonio Valencia following his sparkling form for Manchester United heaped so far this season.

The Ecuador international has become a regular fixture in Mourinho's starting lineup since appointing the Portuguese coach at Old Trafford back in May last year.

Valencia is playing right-back form the bulk of the season and was named player of Manchester United's of the month for March after his brilliant performances for the Red Devils.

Mourinho has been able to rely on the 31-year-old this season and the Portuguese coach was clearly delighted with Valencia's performances this season.

Speaking to MUTV, Mourinho said: "It is quite obvious Antonio is a very good season, playing a phenomenal number of games for us without important injuries, and I'm more than happy with him."

Manchester United are currently chasing a top-four finish in Mourinho's first season in charge at Old Trafford

After regained the EFL Championship in February, Manchester United also chasing Europa League glory, with the Red Devils prepare Anderlecht later embarking in the quarterfinals.
