Northern states will experience partially cloudy conditions with isolated thunderstorms




- The Nigerian Meteorological Agency predicted cloudy conditions until partly cloudy conditions over the central states of the country today, 18 May.

- NiMet's Weather Outlook forecasts day and night temperatures of 27 to 35 and 16 to 24 degrees Celsius respectively

- Northern states will experience partially cloudy conditions with isolated thunderstorms

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) predicted cloudy conditions over the central states of the country on Thursday morning, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms over the Jalingo and Mambilla plateau.

NiMet's Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office on Wednesday in Abuja predicted day and night temperatures of 27 to 35 and 16 to 24 degrees Celsius, respectively, across the region.

It added that during the afternoon and evening hours there are chances of isolated thunderstorms over Abuja, Minna, Kaduna, Jos, Bauchi, Gombe, Yola, Jalingo, Mambilla Plateau, Ibi, Makurdi, Lafia and Lokoja.

The agency predicted that the southern states would be cloudy in the morning, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms over Ikeja, Ijebu-Ode, Warri and Yenagoa.

It also predicted thunderstorms over the area during the afternoon and evening hours, with day and night temperatures of 30 to 33 and 21 to 24 degrees Celsius.
