More than 400 Fulani Christian converts to Christian

- More than 400 Fulani Christian converts were allegedly part of a 3-day church conference in the Plato state

- Seven of the Fulani people were ordered as Reverend

More than 400 people of Fulani ethnicity across the country turned to Christianity, NAN reports.

It was announced on Sunday April 30th in a sermon by Copper Sebok of COCIN Church Panyam, Plato announced at the end of a 3-day conference organized for all Fulani converts of all denominations nationwide.

Rev. Zebok urged the converts to proclaim the gospel of peace to their family in order to reduce the current crises in the country.

He said: "The conference is also a reunification service for all Fulani converts, regardless of their denominations and experiences, and encouraging each other in the spread of the gospel of peace.

"It was a concept of COCIN 43 years ago, denying the idea that Fulani's nomads are and can not be reached by the gospel of Christ."


According to him, the people must be merciful to the unmarried to establish Christ for eternal salvation.

Ds. Sebok condemned the level of crisis in Nigeria, which usually led to loss of lives and property. It added that Nigerians should have peace for the progress and development of the nation.

Rev. Hassan Mohammed said on behalf of the converts that they were grateful to God because they were a new lease of life for Christians.

He announced that the conference was an eye-catcher to proclaim the gospel not only to their family but also to all nations.

He said: "We have a total of seven Fulani people who are ordained reverend to other Pastors and Evangelists, and we do our best to relieve our brothers and sisters about Christianity."

Earlier NAIJ.com reported that Muhammad Musa Bello, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) minister, asked Christians of the area to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari and for the welfare, peace and prosperity of Nigeria as a country.
