Chelsea Football Club, the death of John Phillips, a former goalkeeper at the club, who died at the age of 65 announced.
In a statement on the club's website, the Blues sent condolences to the families and friends of the former goalkeeper.

Phillips was one of the club goalkeepers for almost all of 1970 and although most of that time he was behind Peter Bonetti, when it comes to team selection, there was a period when he was the clear number one choice.
He was born in Shrewsbury on July 7, 1951 and Chelsea in August 1970 for £ 25,000.
