Chinese Club is keeping the £620,000-a-week offer on table for Chelsea striker

Diego Costa remains a firm target for Chinese outfit Tianjin Quanjian, according to reports.

The Daily Mail reports that the Chinese Super League club have kept a £620,000 per week offer on the table for the Chelsea striker.

Costa has been linked with a move to the Far East since before the January transfer window and it is understood that the Spaniard remains highly interested in the £32million-a-year on offer.

The former Atletico Madrid star’s scoring form has plummeted in 2017, with just three goals in 12 appearances, and his future at Stamford Bridge remains up in the air.

Everton ace Romelu Lukaku and Real Madrid attacker Alvaro Morata are strong transfer targets for Antonio Conte while Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez is still a reported option for the West Londoners, making Costa’s presence not as vital as it may have seemed earlier this campaign.

He recently commented about being unhappy in London because of the weather and could quite possibly push for a move at season’s end, even if Chelsea win the Premier League title.
