A couple in Ogun State was arrested by the police because they were allegedly involved in armed robberies and served as recipients of stolen items.
New Telegraph reports that Mathew Abioro and his wife, Precious, were arrested after a hint.
Police's public relations officer in the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the couple met their Waterloo while planning another robbery.
He said:

"The couple was arrested when FSARS men received information that some infamous armed robbers who terrorize Abeokuta and Sango Ash plan to conduct another operation according to their shelter and the couple arrested.
"Upon questioning, they acknowledged that they were involved in a series of armed robberies inside and outside the Abeokuta metropolis.
"They also acknowledged that they were recipients of stolen motorcycles from other robbers and that they sold such motorcycles to the Benin republic and used the proceeds to buy weapons and ammunition that they use for their own operations."
