Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory over Manchester United

Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory over Manchester United, as Arsene Wenger ensured his first league victory over rival Jose Mourinho.

Xhaka scored the opener in a 2-0 win
Mourinho claimed in the match that he would pitch a weak team, but the series did not represent it.

The only guaranteed starters who missed were Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford, such as Chris Smalling, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Micheal Carrick, Ander Herrera and Anthony Martial.

The first half had little chance when Welbeck lost a good chance after being fed by Ozil, while Martial could not benefit from a defensive blend.

Arsenal scored through the impressive Granit Xhaka, whose long-distance attempt from Ander Herrera was deviated.

Three minutes later, Welbeck got a head after connecting with a right wing cross of daring Alex Oxlade Chamberlain.

The victory was Wenger's first move to Mourinho in a Premier League match of Portuguese time at Chelsea and Manchester United.
