The Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja 11), credited a statement to his palace about what happened between him and the Oba of Lagos. The Ooni who repeated his respect for the Oba of Lagos in his statement, said;

Ooni Ife, His Emperor Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja 11) on
Friday commented on a Tunde Awoyemi, claiming to be the palace of tourism. The overnight palace will wake up the wrath of ancestors on Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, if he does not apologize for Arole of Oduduwa at a Public Function recently.

Ooni Ogunwusi insisted on keeping Oba of Lagos in high regard and not only to respect him as one of the leading traditional rulers, but also as an elderly Oba.

In a statement issued by Oba Ogunwusi's director of media and public affairs, Comrade Moses Olafare, "the Ooni Palace used this medium to dissociate Ooni or Ife from the statement credited to Mr Tunde Awoyemi and we got it Repeatedly said that we have no official response to the issue of Oba Akiolu ".

"Kabiyesi Ogunwusi is committed to his peace and unity agenda, which he started when he escaped the throne of his ancestors. We remember not to respond officially, with the aim of preventing a bit of disagreement as if Oba Akiolu remains "A respected monarch and the Ooni established a very strong and healthy relationship with him before his installation as Ooni or Ife."

"While Ooni will maintain the relationship with Oba Akiolu, we want to categorically say that the remark credited to Tunde Awoyemi has not been authorized by Ooni and should ignore all Nigerians at home and in the diaspora."
Signed;
Comrade Moses Olafare,
Director,
Media and Public Affairs,
Ooni's Palace.
