The news release said that it issued a document issued by the West African Examination Board (WAEC) that Senator Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba, better known as Andy Uba, a secondary school certificate and "confirmation of outcome" that he told British Authorities have forged. .

In a letter dated 12 February 2014 and under the attention of George Smith of Public Agencies, located at 57 Peelweg, Wembley Middlesex, HA9 7LY in the UK, WAEC said: "Letter Reference No. L / CR / CONF / 05465089 dated 21 November 2013 is fake. "

According to the examining body, "Mr AA Okelezo, as you rightly noted, was reported as the Controller of our branch office in Calabar on October 7, 2013, deployed from the Ikeja Zonal Office. He was never the Head of the National Office , As indicated at the foot of the letter under reference. The signature on the document is by no means similar to its signature. "

In a report announced earlier today, the Sahara Reporters announced that Senator Uba, representing the senatorial zone of Anambra South, obtained the degrees he earned in secondary schools that passed the certificate examination by WAEC throughout West Africa Done. Mr. Uba, a former senior regional assistant of former president Olusegun Obasanjo, attended the secondary school of the Union (formerly Boys High School), Awkunanaw, a suburb of Enugu, the current capital of Enugu State. Records obtained from school and elsewhere showed that the controversial senator attended the secondary school of the Union from 1970 to 1974 when he left the secondary school certificate.

WAEC's letter to Mr. Smith explained that "the exam conducted in May / June 1974 was GCE [General Certificate of Education] and not WASSCE as indicated on Confirmation of Result."

Signed by O.M. Adebayo, Deputy Registrar in charge of the School Examination Department, WAEC's letter added: "The certificate number: SC 544753 with candidate No. 05465089 has been highlighted as signatures have been forged on the document. Also the serial number quoted on the certificate , Was not in our system. In addition, the spelling of GRADE as GARDE explains the document as fake. "Mr. Adebayo said that a candidate with the same name as Mr. Uba, who was in school in 1974. By the senator

Mr. Uba's actual results, as certified by WAEC in his letter to Mr. Smith, showed that the senator performed profoundly and achieved only one subject of Chemistry "credit". He failed the English language, Bible knowledge and Economics. He earned points of mere "pass", which are close to "failure" in the following subjects: English Language, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics and Biology. In contrast, Mr. Uba's fake results claim that he obtained the following degrees: English Literature 4, English Language 7, Christian Religious Knowledge 7, Economics 4, Statistics 6, Mathematics 6, Physics 4 and Chemistry 6.

In addition to the deceptive change of degrees he obtained in his secondary secondary school certificate, Mr. Uba also states on his official website as well as his page on the National Assembly's website that he holds bachelor's, masters and doctorates from Concordia University, Canada, California State University, and Buxton University in the United Kingdom.

Our investigations revealed that Mr. Uba is indeed registered as an undergraduate student in both Concordia University and California State University, but has left both institutions without having enough work to earn even a bachelor's degree. Our further investigation has also shown that Buxton University is not an accredited learning institution, but a certificate that sells degrees to someone willing to pay a small fee.

Although Mr. Uba's official website claims that senator Buxton University has attended the UK, the false institution has no physical address in Britain.
