Panama Papers: Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif awaits ruling




Pakistan's Supreme Court is to issue its ruling on claims by which defines the political fate of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Questions arose about the best of his family, when three of his sons are associated to offshore accounts in Panama Papers leaks.
Mr Sharif and his family have denied any wrongdoing, dismissing the claims as politically motivated.
The government says it is confident that Mr Sharif can check.
The case made headlines in recent months and stocks both on the announcement that the decision many anticipated would be delivered Thursday.
About 1,500 police officers have been deployed around the court in Islamabad.

The Supreme Court agreed that wealth offshore Mr Sharif late last year after opposition leader Imran Khan threatened street protests.
The focus of the probe is the funds used to buy property in London with offshore companies.
