Former Senate President, David Mark, revealed how old president Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, appointed Governor Aminu Tambuwal in a political enemy.
Mark commented in the book entitled 'Against the Run of Play', written by chairman of newspaper newspaper editor Segun Adeniyi.
Mark specifically said the former president's wife was suspicious of those around her husband.

According to him, Jonathan lost the support of key members of the Democratic Party of the People (PDP) who also opposed the opposition or worked strategically against his re-election
Jonathan's relationship with Tambuwal was ice because he appeared as a speaker against the wishes of the then ruling party.
The PDP's hierarchy then benefits Edele Mulikat Akande from Osun State, but Tambuwal has the majority support from the lower house members.
Tambuwal, as speaker, eventually reached the PDP until the then opposition - the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mark said he tried to defrost the relationship, but Tambuwal was not yet trusted by Jonathan and his wife.

His words: "I took him (Tambuwal) and Emeka (Ihedioha) to the president for a meeting to ensure they cooperate and work with government. But there was always concern from the Jonathan camp that Tambuwal Was an ambitious politician. "
