- Sources claim the Catalan side struck an agreement with Santos two years before he moved to Nou Camp

- According to Criminal Chamber Law, Barca chief must appear in court as part of the corruption trial.

Josep Maria Bartomeu, the president of Barcelona is set to stand trial over alleged fraud and corruption over Neymar's 

Sources have confirmed that the Spanish giants struck an agreement with Santos for the Brazilian two year before he made the switch to the Camp Nou which goes against a certain rule which states that there must be a ‘free market for player signings' always.

According to a part of the Criminal Chamber law, the Barca chief must appear in court as part of the trial.

Sandro Rosell was the president while Bartomeu was the vice during the period of Neymar’s transfer before he finally moved to the Spanish side.

Neymar had earlier been charged to court after it was noticed that Barcelona paid a mega fee of £72.5million for his signature while they initially claimed that he cost £14m.
