Ali modu sheriff has reject the Ex president's Goodluck Jonathan reconciliation to solve the party leader crisis

- The chairman of the PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff, said the reconciliation movements of former President, Goodluck Jonathan, to resolve the party's leadership crisis, collapsed

- The sheriff claims that the reconciliation initiated by Jonathan was hijacked by the Ahmed Makarfi National National Occupation Committee.

The president of the Democratic Party of the People, Mr. Ali Modu said he had withdrawn the reconciliation movement of former President, Goodluck Jonathan, to resolve the party's leadership crisis.

Sheriff in a statement signed by his deputy national chairman, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, issued on Abuja on Thursday 27 April, said it was to enable its led National Work Committee (NOC) to focus on the repositioning of the PDP, Nigeria's news agency (NAN) reports.

He said that the reconciliation movements initiated by Jonathan eventually collapsed, claiming that the move was hijacked by the Sen. Ahmed Makarfi-led National Advisory Committee.


Ali Modu sheriff said Jonathan had lost control of the PDP reconciliation meeting.
"We choose and focus our efforts to make the party again the love of 
Suleman pay her 'pay'?

"We have made tremendous progress for former president Jonathan has been asked by some leaders to convene a meeting where stakeholders will accept the committee's report on reconciliation by Governor Seriake Dickson.

"Unfortunately, former president Jonathan controlled the meeting he invested and allowed Makarfi group to continue with their anti-party posture," he said.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reported that PDP President Muhammadu Buhari urged Mr. Yemi Osibanjo, Vice President, handed over tea in anticipation of his full recovery of his unsecured disease.

The chairman of the supervisory committee of the PDP, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, made a call on Thursday, 27 April in an interview with the National newspaper.

Makarfi said if President Buhari is not fit enough to remain in office, it is better to tell Nigerian people and to allow the vice president to continue as acting president and return to full employment after full recovery.
